RaptoBike morning ride at 60 km/h

On this beautiful summer morning was the weather in perfect condition to take a high speed ride and test the new setup.

The new head wrest is mounted and it is a lot better and much lighter about 102 gams compared to the old one who was around 700 grams.

I'll post some picture of the new head wrest to you later.

Extra 70 Tooth Chain Wheel Mounted

Mounting the 70 tooth chain wheel, SRAM X7 Front Derailleur and gear shifter handle was strait forward and was done in about 45 minutes. I had to ad 7 chain links  because of the bigger chain wheel.

After some testing I tried to  drive as fast possible. The top speed at this moment are 60 km/h witch is a big improvement. My top speed before was about 45 -50 km/h.

I didn't find time to build the new head wrest now.

RaptoBike Allmost Finished Building

All most finished building the RaptoBike. I mounted a pair of Electron 16 LED System head light on a self done aluminum bracket. Now I'm waiting for the 70 tooth chainring to improve my top speed.

I mounted a pair off Cranck brothers Candy SL pedals.
I did't like the pedals with SPD binding there was on  on the bike when I get it.

I will build my oven headrest because the one I mounted are in conflict with my helmet and not comfortable because the angel can not be adjusted enough.
